Kent Bohls is a lifelong Texas, faith leader and community servant. dedicated to preserving history, strengthing connection between people. He and his wife Joan make their home in Bastrop County where they welcome guests to the 9E Ranch cabins and raise Longhorn cattle. Kent Bohls has dedicated much of his life to ministery and service as a member of Rotary International. June 16,1990 kent married the love of his life Joan Yelderman Otto.
Together they raised their teenagers , and traveled taking Gethsemane groups to The Holy Land,, Greece, Italy, Egypt, England, Irland, Scotland, Australia, New Zealand, China, Russia. Kent and Joan Bohls started the 9E Ranch Cabins on the 320 acres from her family. They have had many happy years with their horses, Longhorns and enjoyed Birding. Kent end Joan Bohls are both active board members of Rotary and Bastrop Audubon. The 9E Ranch has been put in a conservation easement with Colorado River Land Trust. Kent Bohls has worked on preserving the Bohls family history by 30 years of research and soon publishing a book.
